Overview of Teaching and Research
Dr. Qiao has been engaged in the creation of wheat-Thinopyrum germplasm using distant hybridization and cytological techniques and the identification of wheat resistance genes by mapping or GWAS since he joined SXAAS in 2013. He has successively presided over 11 research projects and participated in more than 10 projects including the "13th Five-Year Plan" National Key R&D Plan. He has published more than 20 papers in academic journals, of which 11 were included by SCI.
